We are very excited about the 1st annual Alexis' Dream Strollathon taking place October 17, 2009. We are raising money for Katie's Clinic for Rett Syndrome at the Children's Hospital Oakland and the International Rett Syndrome Foundation.

Katie's Clinic serves the needs of girls from the entire western United States including Utah, Hawaii, Oregon, California and even the Philippines. The clinic, now in it's 4th year, provides clinic days when both the newly diagnosed as well as those with older Rett girls can seek medical advice as well as family support. No family is ever turned down, regardless of their financial situation.

The International Rett Syndrome Foundation (IRSF) is the largest private source for biomedical and applied research of Rett Syndrome. The foundation directs 92% of each dollar donated to program services.
